The cable modem allows you to connect to the Internet through your cable TV service. This service is much faster than more traditional means, but is available in limited areas.
Web TV allows you to connect your television to the Internet. A control box that looks similar to a TV converter box connects to your phone line. A remote control, and wireless keyboard are also included. You do need an Internet service provider (ISP).
Companies are even considering satellites as a means of delivering Internet services.
